The video review (Spanish)
When recording the MJX 7303 review, I had used it for some time and enjoyed taking it to the circuit for something different. The 1/7 size stands out, but making use of it on that track required ride-height work and accepting body wear.
A Large Car to Handle Too
It is easy to see and read its movements on track, helping driving. Its size and inertia still require room and adaptation.
I found a metal chassis with centre brace, oil suspension, anti-roll bars and front, centre and rear differentials. Mine also had a gyro, lighting and XT60 connector.
My package contained road and dirt wheels. This video focuses on asphalt; I do not transfer circuit conclusions to dirt.
Good First Impressions, but Height Needed Work
Differentials and suspension initially felt good. At the starting height, however, the car clearly tended to roll as the tyres gained track grip.
Longer travel-limit screws let me lower it, one change enabling further asphalt setup.
The video specifies neither a universal screw length nor measured final height. Check supports, free suspension travel and clearance from steering and drivetrain. My track setup is not a recipe for every surface.
The Gyro Helps, but Not at Maximum
It helps familiarisation and some grip losses. Excessive intervention produced reactions I disliked, so I preferred moderation.
The stock transmitter was sufficient at this stage. There is no instrumental radio comparison or measured lap improvement from the gyro.
What I Enjoyed Driving
Once familiar with the size, losing and regaining grip was fun. I liked its cornering movement and ability to correct. I mention running with other track cars, without comparable times establishing which was faster.
The reference setup was 4S. Ideas for future preparation were discussed, but no 6S test establishes a recommended conversion.
Nor do I convert a discussed speed figure into a GPS measurement: this is about driving experience and adjustments.
The Body Takes the Wear
The body can rub the ground during braking and turns, noticeable in sound and subsequent marks. It also bore earlier accident damage.
That was the most visible wear on my car at this stage. It proves neither universal impact resistance nor long-term maintenance costs.
I Kept It Because I Enjoyed It
My view was very positive and I wanted to keep driving. Consider size, available space and the setup work included in my circuit experience.
