The video review (Spanish)
HobbyKing sent this Rapid LiHV 2S through the channel partnership. I took it to the circuit to compare its use with my LRP and see how long I could drive.
An Important Difference Between Video and Link
In the recording I identify the tested pack as 6400mAh. The description URL identifies a 6000mAh Rapid. I have no confirmation that they are exactly the same product.
I retain the video’s original link below without automatically transferring every test result to that variant. Check the store’s actual product and specifications before buying.
Reception and Connection
Initial checks showed both cells near 3.8V. Its power and balance connections require correct polarity.
The video notes missing information in the instructions and includes charging assumptions. Do not infer maximum voltage from the letters LiHV alone: confirm the exact reference and charger/electronics compatibility. This entry offers no charging setting for an unidentified pack.
Sessions Were Not Identical
The track started wet with little grip. The Rapid ran about 30 minutes; afterwards the 5000mAh LRP ran 21 minutes 47 seconds. The track dried between sessions and my pace changed.
These describe events, but do not alone prove an exact capacity or efficiency difference. Neither surface nor driving remained constant.
What the Lap Times Say
My final Rapid session on a drier track improved times. I mention about 25.9 seconds average and a best lap of 24.98 seconds.
I was pleased, but cannot attribute the improvement solely to the battery because grip changed too. The charger’s replenished mAh are not a standardised capacity test either.
How I Finished Feeling
I was happy with the experience, running time and received pack’s operation. I certify neither discharge C nor internal-resistance curves.
It forms part of my Tamiya TT-02 equipment. The general battery guide helps interpret voltage and charging.
