The video review (Spanish)
The 5000mAh Turnigy Rapid 2S was one of the batteries I bought to check HobbyKing ordering myself. Although this review sits within the channel partnership, the recording explains that I paid for these packs.
What I Wanted for the Promoto
I wanted to retain my balance chargers and have more than one pack. With the kit battery and USB charger, I needed another charge just as I started getting comfortable with the bike.
This reference has EC5 and a separate balance lead. It fits my bike without changing its power connector. Closing the compartment requires positioning the balance lead carefully to avoid trapping it.
A Timed Session
I recorded 12 minutes and 28 seconds. That is this session with my riding and stabilisation enabled, not guaranteed runtime for everyone.
Afterwards I checked temperature and voltages. The stated reading was around 28–29°C. A single post-run measurement does not reveal every peak during discharge.
Compared with My Previous Battery
I noticed no major difference in delivery or runtime against the Spektrum pack previously used. This is experience, rather than identical test cycles supporting a percentage improvement.
For me, the change is convenient charging with compatible equipment I already own and having a second pack. Check size, voltage and connection for the exact kit, even when the bike name matches.
Charging Information Matters
The video mentions earlier batteries received at excessively low voltage. That is not an instruction to recover them with another chemistry’s charging program: use the appropriate LiPo charger/mode and follow instructions.
